Simpler assignment publishing

Releasing an assignment should be one clear action. Today the release date, the published switch on the assignment and Sync on the repository are separate steps, and they have to happen in the right order. It is easy to think something is released when it is not: students can end up with their repositories but no assignment showing, and nothing tells you. The plan is to make release one step: set the date or publish, and students get everything they need. When something is published but not visible to students, Classmoji will say so. Claude (through the MCP server) will also be able to publish assignments and set their release and grading dates.

Pages and slide decks as submissions

A new kind of assignment where the submission is a page or a slide deck instead of a repository, quiz or form. Each student, or each team, gets their own page or deck. It starts empty or as a copy of a template you pick, and students work on it in the usual Classmoji editors. Team members edit it together live. What gets graded is the content as of the deadline, plus any extension hours. You grade it on the assignment page or in the gradebook with your usual scale, seeing it exactly as the student does. Submissions stay private to the student or team and the teaching team.

More links needed on the site

There are a lot of places where links would make the site munch easier to navigate. When navigating classmoji, I often find myself using an unintuitive combination of keeping multiple tabs open of different "subpages" of classmoji that cannot be normally reached from each other, and I often need to type in URLs directly. - slides.classmoji.io (not a specific slideshow, but the gallery with all of them) is completely inaccessible though link navigation. - pages.classmoji.io is also inaccessible, it doesn't have a way to escape back to the main page, and assignment descriptions/tutorials there aren't linked to on the assignments page. The assignments in the assignments page only links to github repositories. - This feedback page is not currently reachable through normal navigation, clicking on the feedback page links to the github repo If I may make a suggestion, I believe that the assignment page should prominently feature a link to the project's description, and that there should be a page's tab on the left.
